How to use Body oils?
Most fragrances available in stores have a high percentage of alcohol, sometimes as much as 95%. The perfume oil within the alcohol mixture is a small amount ranging from 5% to 10%.
The perfume oils sold by BodyOilDepot.com are Concentrated Perfume Oils that do not have any alcohol. These are full strength oils that need to be used sparingly. Because they are concentrated you need to use only a drop or less. The best way to use perfume oils is to apply the fragrance onto your apparel/clothes. The perfume oils can be dispensed from a roll on perfume bottle. Traditionally, people take a drop of the perfume oil in their palms and gently rub their palms together. Then the perfume oil is applied onto clothes by gently brushing the palms onto the clothes. This will prevent staining of clothes and will ensure that the perfume oil is spread over a large part of your clothes. Fragrance from our Perfume oils will last a long time.
As with all products one should exercise caution in their use of perfume oils. If a rash develops, or itching occurs discontinue use immediately and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Visit your doctor if needed. Keep fragrances away from children.

What are Concentrated Perfume Oils(CPO)?
Concentrated Perfume Oils are what many colonge and perfume manufacturers use to create their final product. These manufacturers often times add alcohol and other filler chemicals to dilute the oil. This is why colonges and perfumes only last a couple of hours. While CPOs sold by The Body Oil Depot have the ability to last ALL DAY!
Why are your Body Oils Alcohol Free?
Alcohol or fillers as they are commonly called in the Industry, are used throughout conventional perfumes and so called aftershaves. The reason for their use is:
Firstly to save money, by reducing the amount of CPO in the bottle - if you care to look at around the base of a perfume bottle, you will see a figure with a percentage sometimes as much as 88% and letters such as vol (volume), this actually indicates the volume of alcohol within that bottle, the remaining figure after this percentage is the amount of CPO in the bottle!
Secondly alcohol causes the perfume to evaporate much faster sometimes unto as much as 10 - 15 times faster, this causes the first impression of the perfume to be overwhelming and nice to human senses, but soon evaporates and loses that overwhelming first impression, this is why perfumes with alcohol always smell nice and strong when first applied, but soon lose that initial lift. Concentrated perfume oil is Alcohol free which means it is pure and free from alcohol having an original smell and a little applied to the skin lasts a long time. The body releases natural chemicals from the pores of the skin, when a certain type of scent is applied, it reacts with the bodies chemicals and creates a unique and beautiful smell that benefits the body and mind.
Denatured Alcohol or sometimes called alcohol denat, is most commonly used in perfumes, of which the main ingredient sometimes being methanol, this is very harmful as it is poisonous as it is mass produced as a non-consumable alcohol for the cosmetics and perfume industry as well as other uses. If one cares to look in the encyclopaedia of poisons, under the prefix 'A' you will find Alcohol present. The skin is a very sensitive part of the body with natural pores that allow the skin to breath and release natural chemicals from the body, this type of an alcohol on the skin could be detrimental to the health.
Lastly, all scents should be appreciated when applied to the skin, rather than smelt from the decanter or bottle.
